[size=45]In implementation of the government program, the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement held a meeting with the special committee for following up and implementing (the national strategy to attract and maintain Iraqi talent at home and abroad), formed by Diwani Order 306 of 2019, headed by the Director General of the Immigration Affairs Department, Dr. Safaa Hussein Ahmed, and in the presence of the Director General of the Planning Department. Follow-up in the ministry and representatives of (the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Planning, the National Security Service, the National Intelligence Service, the Director of the Crossing Countries Department and the Director of the Residence Countries Department), to discuss mechanisms for investing Iraqi talents in foreign countries and building bridges of communication and cooperation with them, as well as activating programs. Investment projects that the Iraqi government is working on, maintaining communication with them and attracting them to benefit from their efforts in promoting national development.[/size]
