the leader of the Azm Alliance, Haider Al-Mulla, stressed on Tuesday the necessity of approving the general amnesty law, while clarifying his position on choosing a new speaker of parliament to replace Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
Al-Mulla said in an interview with Mawazine News, “The Sunni political forces are keen on the arrival of a new parliament speaker who will lead the political negotiations.”
He pointed out that "the current stage requires amending the general amnesty law and passing it in the House of Representatives."
Al-Mulla pointed out that "the agreement paper between the active political blocs has not been implemented to a significant extent so far."
