    On Monday, the representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, stressed the necessity of paying the salaries of the region’s employees in conjunction with the advent of Ramadan, without waiting for the salaries to be settled in official government banks.
    Suleiman told Al-Maalouma, “The salaries of Kurdistan employees must not be subject to political bargaining and bidding, and this matter must be resolved quickly, especially since there is a delay in disbursement, which necessitates accelerating the localization of salaries so that they can be distributed to employees.”
    He added, "The Kurdistan Region announced its readiness to submit lists that include the number of employees and all their details to the federal government in Baghdad in order to resolve the issue of salary localization based on the decision of the Federal Supreme Court."
    He stated that "the dispute between Baghdad and Erbil over the issue of salaries will end as soon as they are settled and delivered to employees through approved government banks, especially since this matter has taken a long time."
    Suleiman called on the federal government to “pay employees’ salaries in conjunction with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, as the region’s employees did not receive their salaries for the month of February.” Ended 25 n
