Today, Thursday, the Engineering Service Effort Team announced the development of a plan to clear slums in Baghdad and the governorates, while indicating the completion of 130 projects and work is underway to complete 220 others during the year.
Team leader Jaber Al-Hassani said: “The Engineering Service Effort Team’s projects are infrastructure projects in informal (deprived) areas in Baghdad and the governorates.”
He explained, "The service effort has more than 350 projects," stressing that "130 projects have been completed, and the remainder are being worked on during the first half of the current year."
He pointed out, "There are plans that have been drawn up aimed at eliminating slums in Baghdad and the provinces."
