    Economy News - Baghdad
[rtl]Today, Friday, a member of the Parliamentary Oil and Natural Resources Committee, Basem Nagemesh, revealed Iraqi-Turkish discussions to resume Iraqi oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan.[/rtl]
[rtl]Negimesh said, "There is interest in the oil file with the Turkish side, as the matter is discussed in various meetings and discussions taking place between Baghdad and Ankara."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The main dispute with the region and the Turkish government relates to the export of oil through the port of Ceyhan and the illegal contracts approved by the Federal Supreme Court as well as the International Court, where discussions are taking place in order to resolve this issue and return to exporting oil through the Turkish port."[/rtl]
[rtl]He stated that "the oil exports file will be present in the Iraqi-Turkish discussions to return to resuming exports, despite there being some concerns about Turkey's attempt to bargain with Iraq over the oil file and linking it to the country's share of water."[/rtl]
