[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Today, Wednesday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee held a joint meeting with the Minister of Planning, Muhammad Tamim, and the Undersecretary, Maher Johan Hammad.
The head of the committee, MP Atwan Al-Atwani, said, “The meeting is examining ways to simplify and facilitate procedures for launching projects and approving governorate investment plans, governorate allocations and regional development projects in the general budget,” stressing the parliamentary committee’s determination to address all obstacles facing governorates in implementing plans and projects, all the way to achieving Empowering governorates to achieve sustainable development.
This comes after a joint evening meeting held by the Parliamentary Finance Committee with the governors, last night, Tuesday, to discuss the governorates’ investment budget for the year 2023, and the governorates’ plans to complete investment projects for the year 2024./End 5
