    [ltr]Today, Friday (March 29, 2024), the First Deputy Governor of Basra, Zaid Al-Amarah, revealed an upcoming meeting between the local government, both executive and legislative, the governorate's deputies, local authorities in Qurna, and the executing company to resolve problems in the judicial sewage project.[/ltr]




    [ltr]The emirate said in an interview with "Baghdad Today", that "the direction will be to add four companies to work in the judiciary to proceed quickly to complete the long-awaited service project, and that the delay in it can not be accepted, especially as it is related to the daily service of a large judiciary in Basra province," stressing that "there is an upcoming meeting between the local government in both executive and legislative parts and deputies of the province and local authorities in Qurna and the executing company to resolve problems in the sewage project judiciary."[/ltr]




    [ltr]He called on the emirate to "the need to keep this file away from the political conflict with the governor," noting that "Asaad Al-Aidani and with the difference in political orientation with him, but he did not deliberately neglect the Qurna project, but there are many reasons that led to what the project reached."[/ltr]




    [ltr]He stressed that "the matter must be dealt with in service and we summarize the problems and solutions for the purpose of restoring the confidence of the citizen there in the local provincial government and showing good faith for the purpose of starting the implementation of the project to be completed quickly."[/ltr]




    [ltr]Years ago, residents of Basra's Qurna district have been facing the lag behind the large sewage project, which has been referred to a local investment company.[/ltr]




    [ltr]Despite the demonstrations and calls for its completion by the people, the company has not responded so far, and has not even explained the reasons for the delay, which necessitated the intervention of the governor and his local government, in addition to deputies and the media, to move the file in order to complete it.[/ltr]
