[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed, today, Monday, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for all initiatives and any Arab effort and movement aimed at the good of the Arab nation, strengthening its unity, and preserving its security and stability.
Bahrain News Agency reported that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received, today, Monday, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain to participate in the meeting of the League of Arab States Council at the summit level in its thirty-third regular session, which the Kingdom of Bahrain will host next Thursday. The Secretary-General, according to the agency, informed the King of Bahrain at the beginning of the meeting about the ongoing preparations and final preparations for holding the Arab Summit, the issues and topics on its agenda ,
and the arrangements that have been made to ensure its success.
Al Khalifa, according to the agency, welcomed the Secretary-General of the Arab League, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the tireless efforts made by him and all the workers in the League’s General Secretariat in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom to prepare for the Arab Summit, create the conditions and provide all the reasons for its success to achieve the desired goals
. Bahrain expresses its pride in hosting the Kingdom of this blessed historic summit, which is gaining special importance in light of the exceptional circumstances and challenges that the region is going through as a result of the rapid events and developments, asking God Almighty to grant success to his brothers, the leaders of the sisterly Arab countries, in this good Arab meeting in a way that serves Arab issues and protects the interests of... “The gains of our Arab countries, achieving the aspirations of their people for development and prosperity, and supporting efforts to bring peace, security and stability to the region.”
She added that the King affirmed the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its support for all efforts undertaken by the League of Arab States, out of belief in its effective role in strengthening the system of joint Arab action, preserving unity of ranks and enhancing solidarity among brothers, indicating the Kingdom’s support for all initiatives and any Arab effort and movement aimed at the good of the Arab nation. It strengthens its unity and preserves its security and stability.”
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, expressed deep thanks and great gratitude and appreciation to the King of Bahrain for the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in organizing and preparing the Arab Summit and providing all the capabilities to make it a success.
The meeting also touched on the latest events on the Arab scene and regional and international developments.
The agency noted that the King of Bahrain inspected the summit facilities and the facilities provided to the country’s guests, directing those in charge of the importance of concerted efforts for the success of the summit at all levels./End2[/rtl]
