The model school buildings project has entered its final steps towards completing the first phase of (1,000) schools in all governorates.
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers stated in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, “This comes as an effort by the Department of National Projects and School Buildings in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, to achieve its goals after mobilizing the efforts of its engineering and technical personnel, and strengthening work mechanisms in order to achieve fruitful results that meet the needs of the Ministry.” Education, by providing appropriate school buildings in light of the government’s priorities, as tangible results were achieved with the completion of (200) schools in Baghdad and a number of governorates.”
It is scheduled that the first phase will be completed and (1,000) schools will be provided during the month of next November, according to the timelines and plan drawn up by the Department of National Projects and School Buildings, so that these model buildings will be an important step towards enhancing education and learning in Iraq.
