Bank: banking sector has the potential to make the competition global banks

(newsletter). Banking expert said Mohsen Ali, the development and
advancement of the banking sector in the coming years and make it a
competitor to the world, to its considerable potential to create solid
legislative environment to support this important sector.

(News Agency): the Iraqi banking sector possesses great potential in
terms of human resources and a good environment to compete with global
banks, but it still faces a number of difficulties and challenges which
prevented advancement during the current period.
He added that
local banks need rehabilitation at all levels and the introduction of
modern technological systems work as well as the training of its cadres
working as needed to open a bank with foreign banks and channels for the
exchange of experiences and to contribute to the strengthening of the
Iraqi economy.
The banking system in Iraq consists of forty-three
banks as well as the Central Bank and distributed by property (7) and
banks (30) my family including Bank (7) in addition to Islamic banks (6)
foreign banks/finished/8 n. p.
