"Mawazine News" obtained a letter issued by the Prime Minister approving the establishment of the Wasit Oil Company and directing the Ministry of Oil to begin the procedures.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and the Iraqi Minister of Oil, Hayyan Abdul Ghani, announced on Thursday that his ministry is working to establish a new oil company under the name “Wasit Oil Company”, in Wasit Governorate, located in the central part of Iraq.
