    [size=45]The Parliamentary Finance Committee unveiled new details related to voting on the 2024 budget schedules, indicating that political forces agreed not to amend them and to proceed with them in the parliament session scheduled to be held next Monday.[/size]
    [size=45]Committee member Jamal Cougar said in an interview with Al Mada, “The Finance Committee will hold a meeting today, in order to write a report on the 2024 budget schedules to be presented in the voting session.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “Political forces agreed not to amend the budget schedules and to proceed with them as they came from the government, while other parties see the necessity of making some transfers from the ministries to the governorates, and today’s meeting will resolve this part.”[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Moeen Al-Kazemi, said in an interview followed by Al-Mada, that “the schedules that arrived from the government included 156 trillion dinars for operational expenses, which in turn includes the salaries of employees, retirees, and social welfare beneficiaries, in addition to other operational expenses,” pointing out “The tables also included an investment budget of about 55 trillion dinars.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “The coordination framework held a meeting in the presence of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and the Ministers of Finance and Planning,” noting that “it was agreed to approve these tables without any change or transfer, while ensuring the governorates’ share of 3 trillion from the year 2024 and 7 trillion from the year 2023.” Reserved for recycling, and 6 trillion are available to the governors from the emergency support budget.”[/size]
    [size=45]Earlier, the House of Representatives set next Monday as a date to hold a parliamentary session and vote on the schedules of the Federal Budget Law for the year 2024.[/size]
