National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji confirmed today, Sunday, to the US Ambassador to Baghdad, Alina Romanowski, that the paths of the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani enjoy support from various political forces.
A statement from the National Security Advisory received by Mawazine News stated, “Al-Araji received Romanowski, and during the meeting they discussed the overall political and security situation at the international and regional levels, as well as the continuation of cooperation between the two countries, to enhance security and stability in the region and the world.”
The statement added, "During the meeting, the importance of following up on the memorandums of understanding that were signed between the two countries during Sudan's recent visit to Washington was emphasized."
Al-Araji stressed that "the Sudanese government is continuing to implement the paragraphs of its government program, and that its paths and paragraphs enjoy political support from various Iraqi political forces, to advance the country and achieve the aspirations of the people."
