Al-Maliki renewed "the demand to resend the draft federal civil service law," noting that "the issue of the salary scale is not with the House of Representatives, and the delay in its approval is due to the government."

He stressed that "the House of Representatives is ready to discuss any draft law sent by the government to achieve justice and fairness and defend all groups equally in a way that preserves their interests."

MP Amir Al-Maamouri stressed during the conference that “many departments and ministries are considered a hostile environment, due to the lack of social justice regarding the salary scale,” indicating that “there is great injustice to many employees, including 315 contracts and daily workers.”

Al-Maamouri addressed the employees, saying, “It is our duty to protect the rights of many employees, as we work according to the constitution and the laws in force, and there will be other steps regarding the salary scale so that the picture is clear to employees in government departments.”

He stated that "the representatives were not unaware of this issue," explaining that "there are many correspondences and signature collections for the purpose of amending this scale and demands for it and providing financial allocations."

He pointed out that "we are working with the rest of the representatives to complete this file and approve it to achieve social justice for all employees."
