[size=45]Today, Saturday, August 3, 2024, Mr. Faris Issa, Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Baghdad, visited the Parliamentary Investment Committee and was received by Mr. Hassan Al-Janabi, Chairman of the Committee, and a number of its members.[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Bakhtiar Haji, Director General of Public Relations and Follow-up Affairs at the Representation, legislation was discussed that supports the creation of an appropriate investment environment to attract companies and capitalists to contribute to various projects, especially strategic ones.[/size]
[size=45]For his part, the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s representation in Baghdad spoke about the investment law in the Kurdistan Region, pointing out that the law provides many facilities for granting licenses and attracting investors.[/size]
[size=45]The head of the parliamentary investment committee stressed the need to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Federal Investment Commission and the Kurdistan Region in order to develop programs and plans for strategic investment projects and implement them in cooperation with local and foreign investors.[/size]
