[size=52]Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation Visits the Host of the Bani Hassan Emirate in Najaf[/size]
[size=45]As part of his tour in the Al-Najaf Governorate, and in order to strengthen the ties between the people of Kurdistan and the authentic Arab tribes, Professor “Fares Issa,” the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s representation in Baghdad, today, Thursday, June 27, 2024, visited the host of the Emirate of Bani Hassan and was received by the Emir of the tribe and a number of senior sheikhs. And the notables, in addition to MP Abdel Hadi Al-Hasnawi.[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, they discussed the depth of the historical relations that link the Kurdish and Arab tribes, especially between the Kurdish national symbols and the Arab tribes and their common role in the revolutions against colonialism and occupiers.[/size]
[size=45]For his part, the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s representation referred to the magnificent reception given by the Arab tribes in central and southern Iraq to the symbolic leader Mustafa Barzani upon his return to the country after years spent as a refugee outside the country.[/size]
[size=45]The sheikhs of the Emirate of Beni Hassan highly evaluated the policy and approach of President Masoud Barzani in adopting the principle of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, in order to preserve the societal fabric, especially in the Iraqi opposition conferences and during the victory of the mass uprising against the former regime in Kurdistan.[/size]
[size=45]At the end of the meeting, the Emirate of Bani Hassan held a luncheon in honor of the Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation, conveying their greetings and love to the Kurdistan Region, its government and people.[/size]
