Regarding the national development plan, Al-Zawraa newspaper, issued by the Journalists Syndicate, quoted the ministry's spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, as saying: "The five-year national development plan 2024-2028, launched by the Prime Minister, was completely different from previous plans in that it was participatory and responsive to the challenges facing Iraq, through programming development action and relying on innovative solutions to address all the challenges facing the Iraqi situation.
He added: The plan included 5 main programs from which 94 sub-programs emerge, and each sub-program includes a group of activities from 50 to 90 activities in various fields. Indicating: The main programs are most notably economic diversification, achieving partnerships, activating the role of the private sector, reducing dependence on oil, and moving towards activating and developing other non-oil sectors by contributing to increasing the gross domestic product. He continued
: In addition to not neglecting the priorities facing Iraq, such as poverty, for which there are strategies to address it. Pointing out: The plan was implemented in cooperation and coordination with national and local authorities, and all ministries participated in preparing this plan, and local governments also had a space to participate in the plan, as well as the private sector was also strongly present, and even civil society had a role in preparing this plan.
He continued by saying: In addition, there is a team of international experts delegated by the United Nations Development Program who specialize in development issues. Stressing: The plan took on the challenges facing Iraq internally and externally.
Last Saturday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani launched the five-year development plan 2024-2028.
A statement by the Prime Minister's media office received by "Al-Zawraa" stated: "The Prime Minister launched the five-year national development plan (2024-2028), during the ceremony held by the Ministry of Planning in cooperation with Iraq's development partners."
The statement indicated that “at the beginning of the ceremony, the attendees stood for a minute of silence on the occasion of the National Day to recognize the crimes committed against the Yazidis and other components by the terrorist ISIS gangs, which falls on August 3 of each year.”
In a speech he delivered during the ceremony, Al-Sudani praised “the efforts of the Ministry of Planning, the ministries and their supporting bodies, and international partners, indicating that the five-year development plan was approved by the Council of Ministers, in recognition by the government of the importance of the country having a development plan with achievable paths and goals,” stressing “the importance of adhering to the plan’s goals; as it is the way to change the lives of Iraqis for the better.”
Regarding Sinjar, Al-Sabah newspaper said that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani announced, yesterday, Monday, the issuance of several decisions concerning the people of Sinjar, including the establishment of a university and the release of compensation for the destroyed homes of the displaced.
During his patronage of the memorial ceremony, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the genocide of the Yazidis and other Iraqi components, committed by the terrorist gangs of "ISIS", Al-Sudani said: "The genocide that took place against the Yazidis and other components at the hands of ISIS gangs makes us demand the necessity of stopping the ongoing genocide of the people of Gaza at the hands of the Zionist occupation forces, which are today committing crimes similar to those committed by ISIS gangs, which confirms that the killers belong to one approach, which is the approach of hostility to humanity, and lack of conscience and morals." He stressed that "our government worked to do justice to all Iraqis, as part of the basic mission in the work of the National Service Government, and we have established in the government program a commitment to support the Iraqi components," indicating that "we have taken many decisions and directives to provide a decent living and a dignified life for our Yazidi people, starting with the selection of a special advisor for their affairs in the Prime Minister's Office."
Al-Sudani pointed out that "we established the Sinjar and Nineveh Plain Reconstruction Fund, and we previously issued a decision to grant ownership of (14,500) housing units to the people of Sinjar," adding that "we issued (the day before yesterday, Sunday) a directive to include all segments of the people of Sinjar and the Nineveh Plain in loans from the Real Estate Bank, the Housing Fund, government initiatives, and the Central Bank initiatives."
Al-Sudani directed "expanding the basic design of Sinjar district, without causing any demographic change.

and Al-Sudani instructed (to expand the basic design of Sinjar district, without causing any change Demographically, and maintains the privacy of the areas of the original Iraqi components that were deprived of this right throughout the years of the dictatorial regime), pointing out that (opening branches of most of the state's service, financial and banking institutions in Sinjar district, and granting job grades to the sons of the district to appoint them in these institutions, in addition to establishing Sinjar University, to improve the reality of the district in all fields).

For his part, the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called on the government to direct the relevant ministries and institutions to support and assist the work of the parliamentary committee formed to follow up on the implementation of the Yazidi Survivors Law and the relevant Cabinet decisions.
Al-Mandlawi said during the anniversary yesterday (forming a special parliamentary committee to follow up on the implementation of the provisions of the Yazidi Survivors Law in cooperation with the relevant government agencies, which is concerned with addressing the physical, psychological, social and material damage caused by ISIS crimes. / End[/rtl]
