The Ministry of Migration and Displacement has resolved the problems related to the plot of land allocated for the low-cost housing project in Sinjar and Nineveh Plain districts.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Ali Abbas Jahagir, said that the ministry was able to solve the administrative problems related to the 50-dunum plot of land allocated for the implementation of the low-cost housing project within the Sinjar and Nineveh Plain districts, with the aim of distributing it exclusively among the displaced persons who returned voluntarily, in coordination with the Ministry of Construction and Housing, as it is the party that owns the land.

He pointed out that the project contributes to resolving the crisis of voluntary returnees, especially those whose homes are still destroyed and uninhabitable, according to the official Al-Sabah newspaper.
