    He added that the local government is keen to restore the original spirit to the famous churches and monasteries of Mosul, after completing the reconstruction, rehabilitation and construction of the first largest Christian church in the Hawsh al-Bay'a area, which has an ancient history and a great legacy dating back more than 1400 years.

    He indicated that the local government has made great strides in rebuilding a large number of historical and archaeological churches, calling on the Christian component in the province to return to their homes again.
