Iraqi oil prices rose on Tuesday (October 1, 2024), the second day of trading this week for futures contracts, amid the escalation between Israel and Lebanon, while Brent and Texas crude prices also rose slightly.
According to data reviewed by Baghdad Today, Basra Heavy crude oil recorded $68.57 per barrel during today’s trading, while the average recorded $71.57 per barrel, with a change rate of 1.75+ for both .
The data also showed an increase in global crude prices, as British Brent crude recorded $71.77, while US West Texas Intermediate crude recorded $68.24 per barrel, by +0.07 and 0.08, respectively .
