The leader of the State of Law Coalition, Sheikh Haider Al-Lami, confirmed today, Friday, that the American army has no desire to leave Iraq.
Al-Lami told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The US administration is still seeking to continue the presence of its forces in Iraq and the region, to implement its aggressive agenda."
He added, "Part of the mission of the American forces in Iraq is to serve the interests of the Zionist entity and preserve its security from the strikes of the Islamic resistance."
He continued, "America realizes that the first line of resistance is in Iraq, and this makes it not want to withdraw its forces from it to serve its interests and the interests of the Zionist entity."
The government had previously announced an agreement with America to set a one-year timetable for the withdrawal of its forces from the country. End 25N
