{Politics: Al Furat News} The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed the existence of unprecedented “stability” in Iraq on various levels.
A statement from his office, a copy of which was received by {Euphrates News}, stated that Mr. Al-Hakim met on the second day of his visit to the Kurdistan Region "at the guest house of Sheikh Karim Agha Goran, in Dohuk Governorate, a group of sheikhs and dignitaries of this noble clan and the people of the region, and stressed that the relationship between Arabs and Kurds is a relationship of blood, tears and sacrifices and is an extension of a historical relationship with many decisive stations."
He pointed to "some of the decisive stations represented by the fatwa of Imam Al-Hakim (may God sanctify his secret) in which he forbade fighting Kurdish Muslims and endured many challenges and harassments for this position," indicating that "life is made by the positions of men, and the importance of communication and pride in the legacy of fathers and grandfathers and handing it over faithfully to sons and grandchildren."
Mr. Al-Hakim noted that "the reality of Iraq today is different from its recent past and there is unprecedented development and stability on the political, social, economic and security levels," indicating that "the Kurdistan elections expressed a great awareness of our people in Kurdistan, and we praised the high turnout."
