Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called on the heads of parliamentary blocs and representatives to attend and participate widely in today's session, Thursday, dedicated to electing a Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Al-Mandlawi said in a statement received by Al-Maalouma Agency, "Representatives of all components are required to be present in the Council Hall to cast their votes to decide on the selection of a president for the legislative authority."
He stressed the "necessity of keeping political disputes and differences away from this important file, and that all national forces work with the principle of caution and responsibility to complete the constitutional entitlements that have been delayed for a long time, and that the session should lead to the election of a president who will contribute to continuing the steps to strengthen the oversight and legislative role of the House of Representatives."
Al-Mandlawi pointed out that "the decision to hold the election on this day is a right for a component that is a partner and a foundation in the political process." End/25
