"We are ready to work" with Russia to avoid repetition of tragic accidents in the future, Davutoglu told reporters, as quoted by the Hurriyet newspaper.
He added that without coordination between the countries there would always be a risk of deadly incidents.
Bilateral relations between Ankara and Moscow deteriorated following the downing of a Russian Su-24 frontline bomber by Turkish Air Forces in Syria, on November 24. In response to the incident, Russia introduced a set of economic measures against Turkey, prohibiting the import of some products and suspending several economic activities.
