He said al-Abadi in a speech on Saturday, parliamentary by Salman Jumaili, Minister of Planning in the annual banking conference in Baghdad, said that "our country is going through today circumstance Mali difficult, because of low oil prices, so we believe that it is time to activate sectors, agricultural, industrial, tourism, and banking , in order to show a strong and efficient banking sector. "
Abadi called the private banking sector to "objective review of the problematic got in some private banks and weakened the confidence to deal with, being (banks) have become important to the engine to the wheel of development."
He acknowledged the Iraqi Council of Ministers, in October / October last, the federal budget for 2016 project at $ 106 trillion Iraqi dinars (90.9 billion dollars), and a deficit of 23 trillion dinars (19.7 billion dollars).
And it amounted to Iraqi oil exports during November / last November, about 3.3 million barrels per day, the highest reach of Iraqi exports for decades, after the government's drive to increase oil production and to compensate the lack of income due to low prices.
The Iraqi government has resorted to raising the sales tax on imported goods, in order to strengthen fiscal revenue, to reduce the size of the financial crisis faced by the country as a result of low oil prices in global markets
