Announced that the secretariat of Baghdad, on Tuesday, about to begin preparations for the establishment of the activities of the eighth Baghdad International Festival of Flowers, scheduled to take place in the month of April next year.

The Secretariat pointed out that "the establishment of the festival represents an important opportunity for the local agricultural sector to obtain and exchange of experiences between specialists and stakeholders to improve the quality of planting flowers for the purpose, as well as help develop the capacity and capabilities of the cadres of the Municipality of Baghdad and agricultural sections where and expand green areas, cultivated through direct sales to citizens at subsidized prices." jh
