Bogdanov: Turkish intervention in northern Iraq is a violation of Iraqi sovereignty

Said the Russian president's envoy for the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said the Turkish intervention in northern Iraq violated Iraq's sovereignty. He said Bogdanov that the possibility of ground intervention on the territory of any country requires two important things first is a clear and explicit UN Security Council for specific targets decision and the second is government approval legitimacy of that country, adding that Russia and Iraq exchanged information on combating private war against the terrorist organization Daash terrorism through the center, which was held in Baghdad.
