Abawi discusses political situation with Brazilian & Swedish Ambassadors to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Iraqi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Labeed Abawi, discussed with the Brazilian Ambassador to Iraq, Anwar Nahas, and the Swedish Ambassador, Jorgen Lindstrom, the bilateral relations and the political situation in Iraq and the region.
A statement by the Ministry reported “The meeting between Abawi and the Brazilian Ambassador tackled the bilateral relations between both countries and the current situations in Iraq and the region especially that in Syria.”
Another statement pointed out that “the meeting held between the FM Undersecretary and the Swedish Ambassador was over discussing the bilateral relations and means of upgrading them along with reviewing the political and security posture in Iraq and the elections conducted in recent in Iraqi provinces.”

Abawi stressed “Iraq’s ability to get over any difficulties facing the political process and its readiness to offer possible support for the friendly countries,” according to the statement.
