The governor of Nineveh reveals the opening near the refinery capacity of 60 thousand barrels per day

revealed governor of Nineveh province, on Tuesday announced the opening of an oil refinery in the province with a production capacity estimated at 60,000 barrels per day soon.
He said Nofal Sultan in an exclusive interview with the "morning": that the opening of this refinery will contribute to the elimination of thescarcity of fuel in the province of Nineveh post - liberation, explaining that the plan aimed to raise production to 90 thousand barrels a day, noting that the work reached the final stages and will be officially opened in the near future, also pointed out that therefinery will significantly contribute to the elimination of scarcity of petroleum products in the whole province of Nineveh of gasoline and kerosene and material gas oil (kerosene), starting from the liberated areas, in addition to utilize them following the liberation of thecity of Mosul process.
he said the Sultan, that the refinery capacity is estimated at 60 thousand barrels of oil per day, stressing that it will be opened in the next few days after placing the finishing touches, while not ruled out local government went to the creation of more than an oil refinery for the needs of the province.
