    Ministry of Agriculture confirmed the development of agricultural capacity in the country, by increasing the strategic crops of wheat, barley, pointing to prevent the import of 12 types of vegetables in order to achieve self-sufficiency in its production.
    The agent said the ministry Mahdi al-Qaisi, said in a statement seen by our economy News Agency, "The agricultural sector has witnessed remarkable development at all levels, and we have a real indicators in increasing wheat and barley crops." 
    He explained that "this is due to the presence of government support represented the support provided by the ministry during the seeds delivered to the peasants and farmers support, seeds of the highest-ranking supported by 80%, as well as increased fertilizer dose of urea fertilizer, and became this dose of 50 kg for acres, as well as that this dose is more than that for farmers in the upper ranks seeds. " 
    "We also increased the crop back to support on combating bush since they are free during the current year, and we have expectations of an increase of the production of wheat crop under these programs are launched, including the national program for the development of the cultivation of wheat in Iraq and support systems by 50% of the farms wheat." 
    He said al-Qaisi, "there was the evolution of the vegetable crops, and we have 12 types of banned from import to the presence of a sufficient domestic producer to cover the daily requirement of the Iraqi table vegetables." 
    With regard to livestock, he said the "ongoing programs for the development of livestock, for a wealth of fish went to education in floating cages and spread in the course of rivers, where the highest growth density and better services than a dirt Lakes." 
    And on the breeding and improvement of bovine schemes, "There is no national program of artificial insemination to improve local breeds of cows added his embryo transfer program, through embryos New Zealand transfer program and incubation in an Iraqi cow, and the baby will be born to be pregnant for the entire qualities of foreign parents," according to Al-Qaisi.
