    Announced the Tourism Authority, growing influx of travelers for the purposes of tourism during this year compared to previous years despite the financial crisis, revealed that two million Iraqis have meant both from Turkey and Iran in 2016, this addition to the 200 000 meant to Lebanon, while tourism companies attributed this to "the lack of "recreational and tourism venues in the capital Baghdad and other cities of the country.  
    The director of one of the travel and tourism companies in Baghdad, Mohammed al-Bawi, in an interview with (long-Presse), "The next two numbers on the travel abroad of Iraqi tourism ratios, experiencing a big increase with the approach of Eid al-Adha."
    He attributed the al-Bawi, so to "a lack of recreational and tourism venues in the capital Baghdad and other cities in the country," noting that "the attractive countries for tourists Iraqis are all from Turkey, Lebanon, Iran and Azerbaijan."
    For his part, one of the workers in the travel and tourism companies, Hussein Amer said in an interview with (long-Presse), said that "the Turkish restrictions imposed by Turkey on Iraqi travelers and higher fares during the holidays, pushing them to the orientation towards Egypt, for easy to get in and licenses visa prices of goods in it. "
    In turn, the head of the Tourism Authority of Mahmoud al-Zubaidi, the agency said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The number of Iraqis who left the country for tourism during this year's rate, recorded significant increase compared to previous years."
    He revealed Zubaidi, that "official statistics indicate the entry of more than 1.5 million tourists to Iran, and about 500,000 others to Turkey, and more than two hundred thousand to Lebanon, as well as Azerbaijan and areas of Kurdistan region of Iraq, during this year," asserting that "the Commission imposed strict control over tourism operators to monitor the services offered to tourists from the venues and the safety of their transfer, and other services.
