     Revealed to the Parliamentary Integrity Commission, on Tuesday, on the decline of border crossings revenues in Basra since the application of labor tariff customs because of "fraud and corruption", as shown that the customs officers, mostly from outside the province, confirmed the existence of fraud in the type and volume of goods entering the country.
    He said the Parliamentary Integrity Committee member Bahaa Jamal al-Din said in an interview to the (long-Presse), said that "our follow-up of about seven land and sea border ports in Basra resulted pointing observations on the work of the Department of Customs Authority, through the transfer of staff from outside Basra to Basra ports."
    Jamal al-Din, a deputy from the province of Basra said that "the salary of the senior staff member from outside the province could not meet the housing and mobility expenses out of his city," and wondered about the "non-financial gain monthly salary for employees in the form of customs."
    He said a member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee that "the port of Umm Qasr northern revenues were at the time of customs tariff by 5% and amounted to about 20 billion dinars per month," noting that he "was supposed to increase revenue in accordance with the tariff ratio of 20-30%, but fell to below quarter of these revenues, which calls for the investigation to do so. "
     He revealed the beauty of religion and "the existence of fraud in the type and size of the goods received and change its title, so as to reduce the size of fees for them are met."
    The land and sea ports in the country introduced new customs tariff law for months for the introduction of revenue for the country according to the new fees approved by the Council of Ministers.
