he added that" during the meeting , which was attended by an agent of the Ministry of planning for Shannen administrative, technical and charge d'affaires of theGerman embassy in Baghdad Oliver Hnakenberj, has been researched and discussed the mechanisms and standards to be adopted by the parties in theinclusion and implementation of reconstruction projects and rehabilitation ofinfrastructure in the liberated areas to be funded by the loan Germany granted to Iraq amounting to 500 million euros. "
the statement noted that" the two sides agreed to form a joint team of advisers to examine the list of projects financed by the loan , "noting that" the planning minister expressed thanks to the position of the German government 's support for Iraq in thefight against terrorism and the reconstruction of liberated areas through a soft loan of 500 million euros. "
He Jumaili during the meeting that" the loan was included in the general budget for the year 2017 in order to gain legal status and will be invested in several projects over more than a year depending on the nature of the projects funded; therefore, this loan is important to support reconstruction in the shadow of the financial crisis faced by Iraq because of the continuing decline in oil prices which caused a deficit in the budget, especially in the investment side. "
for his part, representative of the German bank" his country 's readiness to continue to support Iraq in all fields, especially with regard to the reconstruction of liberated areas through setting priorities for investment projects, praising the standards established by the ministry in the distribution of projects which take into account through which social and environmental aspects. "
