He met with Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for bilateral affairs Nizar alkhairallah said yesterday the British Ambassador in Baghdad Simon Coles.
The Ministry statement said all Iraq received IGN on, "the British Ambassador presented a congratulatory message from the British Government on the occasion of the termination of the provisions of Chapter VII after Iraq meets all the international commitments, describing this achievement as a result of the success of the Iraqi diplomatic and devoted to the remarkable efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs".
"His agent thanked the British Government for its political support for Iraq in the Security Council and in various international forums, praising bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields and work to support British companies operating in Iraq, noting that the meeting was attended by Ziad Khaled, head of Europe".
The Security Council last Thursday voted overwhelmingly to exit Iraq from international sanctions imposed under the provisions of Chapter VII, because of the previous regime's invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
Iraq said after emerging from the provisions of this chapter and the ensuing international sanctions is not obliged to deposit its oil revenues in a fund the "PDF" Development Fund for Iraq, as well as his money abroad. finished
