    Counting Communications Minister, Kazem Hassan Rashed, on Sunday, the cabinet approval of the General Company for Post and savings establishment, it came upon a proposal of the ministry for the development of the postal service, revealing that the ministry has sought the establishment of postal bank in collaboration with the Central Bank of Iraq.
    He said Al-Rashed, in a statement received (long-Presse) a copy of it, that "the Council of Ministers' decision to establish the General Company for Post and savings, is part of the ambitious plan, which the ministry plan for the advancement of the postal service, which is complementary to other services provided by the cadres of the ministry as services communications, the Internet and information technology and other "noting that" the establishment of the company has become a necessity to keep up with the obvious developments in the areas of mail and savings in all countries of the world and to move forward the scientific approach of his plan Angels ministry for the advancement of services provided to citizens, and to proceed with plans to develop the postal service which enjoys the confidence of the citizen for its mail services and providing sober for several years. "
    The minister added that "the ministry is seeking in this context to provide the best advanced postal services for citizens, including the immediate establishment of postal bank in collaboration with the Central Bank of Iraq and cooperation in this area to ensure the success of the proposed project in order to provide the best banking and postal services to customers."
    Rashed explained that "the General Company for Post and savings founding was based on the vision of the Ministry based communications on scientific grounds fit with its plan to develop the postal work and savings and elevate it to its services in developed and developing countries, especially after the clear evolution in the field of communications and information technologies, which in turn led to change the postal work. "
    The Council of Ministers has approved during its regular in (the 13th of December, the last in 2016), the General Company for Post and savings in the Ministry of Communications established.
