[rtl]The Ministry of Oil announced on Saturday the development of a program to increase the daily export capacity of oil ports in the country's territorial waters.[/rtl]

[rtl]The director general of the Basra Petroleum Company Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar said in a press statement that "his company has developed a program to develop its export capabilities until 2025 to accommodate the volume of crude oil production for the fields of Basra and southern provinces."[/rtl]

[rtl]"The program will double the capacity of Basra platforms and ports to export crude oil by 100 percent to 6 million bpd of energy, instead of the current capacity of three million and 500 thousand bpd," Abdul Jabbar said.[/rtl]

[rtl]He stressed that "there is a parallel plan to increase the capacity of storage capacity up to 20 million barrels of crude oil during the year 2026 to ensure the ability to manage the quantities of oil produced from the center and south of the country, which will develop sustainable development."[/rtl]
