Iraq makes 15 warships
Majid General Company, a member of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in the province of Basra, revealed Wednesday that it has manufactured speed patrol boats for the leadership of the naval force in the Ministry of Defense.
The company's official spokesman, Abdul Wahid Alwan Al-Shammari, said in a statement today that the company, within the contract of participation with Al-Da'an Company, manufactures (15) speed patrol boats, which are used for rapid patrols, search and rescue operations in coastal and regional waters, protection of inland marinas and ports, The Big Navy in the Arabian Gulf.
He pointed out that the boats manufactured are characterized by being fast intercept boats designed by the fiber class according to the international specifications and operate efficiently in different marine conditions and enjoy high stability, adding that the boats also distinguished in the fact that the hull is guaranteed for 10 years annually (2000) H. It has a bullet-proof cabin and a crew of 4 persons.
Al Shammari pointed out that the boats are fully air conditioned and equipped with a power generator of 11 kilowatts and a transport vehicle corresponding to the length and weight of the boat and a motor connected to a joint with a jet propulsion system with a lift box with lift chains and accessories (5) For the installation of equipment and an external loudspeaker, pointing out at the same time that it is possible to control the machines and engines and navigation equipment and maneuver all of the winter tower and summer of the boat.
