The US embassy plays a central role in Baghdad, the political analyst Hafiz al-Bishara said on Monday, pointing out that the expulsion of Americans from Iraq requires a unity of political position and a diagnosis of the people who are in contact with the embassy and preventing them from entering it.
Al-Bishara said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "Iraq is still in America's calculations that it is an occupied country, and therefore it will not abandon this fact and behave with it as an occupier before it, while the government is acting as an independent country, the countries".
He added that "the interventions of the US embassy, which Washington is preparing a decision center in Baghdad, are rejected by the Iraqis, and the government, parliament, judiciary and military are required to agree that Iraq rejects dependency and American dictates." He pointed out that "America's insistence that Iraq is an occupied country, In front of these actions and carrying weapons to remove the occupier by force, especially since the Arab peoples are known for earning dignity or martyrdom. "
Al-Bishara pointed out that "the United States must address the situation and respect the Iraqi will and build confidence with Iraq to maintain the interests of the two parties, without becoming a rival or use Iraq as a tool to achieve its regional interests."
