Kurdistan Union: Parliament will choose the President of the Territory during the next two days

Announced the National Union, on Sunday, the intention of the Kurdistan Parliament to vote on the President of the Territory and his deputy during the next two days, noting that the formation of the territorial government will take place immediately after the holiday.
"The Kurdistan Regional Parliament will choose the president of the region and his deputy according to the previous political agreement between the main Kurdish parties during the next two days," said a member of the Union's leadership council, Areez Abdullah.
Abdullah added that "the agreement provides for the selection of Democratic Party candidate Nigervan Barzani as president of the region and his deputy from the National Union and then the government."
He explained that "the formation of the government and the naming of ministers will be after the Eid holiday immediately after the appointment of pleased Barzani to negotiate with the parties to form a new government."
