Integrity controls irregularities and waste of public funds by raising Kirkuk

The Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission announced on Monday that the staff of the Kirkuk Bureau of Investigation carried out two separate seizures in the Directorate of Education and Al-Rasheed Bank in the province.
The Department noted that the staff of the Bureau of Investigation Authority in the province can control the priorities for the purchase of electrical appliances by the Directorate of Education, contrary to the instructions, pointing out that its investigations led to the disclosure of the Directorate's purchase of (300) devices and generators, despite the objection of a member of the Committee Attracting offers; because of excessive prices and being contrary to the instructions of the implementation of the budget for 2019, and instructions for the implementation of government contracts in force.
In a separate operation, the Department confirmed the arrest of an accused in possession of an instrument in the process of exchange at the Bank of Rasheed in the province;
The Chamber stated that the minutes of the seizure of fundamentalists were seized in the two operations that were carried out in implementation of a judicial warrant, and presented them with the accused to the competent investigating judge, who decided to link the validity of the issuance of purchase receipts, and record the statements of the legal representative of the Directorate of Education in Kirkuk, and the suspension of the accused in the second process in accordance with the provisions of Articles 289 And 298) of the Penal Code.
