Industry produces (4) million tons of cement and generates revenues of (133) billion dinars

Iraqi General Cement Company, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, on Wednesday, revealed the quantities of production and the value of revenues achieved during the current year.

Al Khafaji added, “The main objectives of the company are to increase production and reduce costs to reach this ancient and leading industry to the economic power supporting the national income and contribute to the diversification of sources of income after the company's laboratories and in cooperation with private sector laboratories were able to achieve self-sufficiency and stop wasting (600) million dollars. The Director General pointed out that “the company's 18 factories, distributed throughout the governorates, have suffered (9) of them destroyed by terrorism.
