Today, Friday (August 4, 2023), the Parliamentary Legal Committee called on the government for the purpose of sending important and basic bills awaiting enactment in this session, while it reviewed the most important of these laws.
The head of the committee, Rebwar Hadi, told "Baghdad Today" that "the Federal Court and anti-terrorism laws are at the top of these laws, in addition to the Federation Council law, which the committee will work to pass in the next stage."
He added, "Most of the draft laws have been agreed upon by the State Administration Coalition, as there will be important draft laws within the committee that will continue to be read."
And the head of the Legal Committee continued, "The aforementioned draft laws, some of which are in the corridors of the committee and others awaiting their arrival from the government, will be a consensus and a political agreement for the purpose of expediting their passage."
