    Iraq and Iran agreed yesterday (Sunday) on the abolition of visa between the two countries, and to allow the passage of people and vehicles at the border without any hindrance.

    The Department of Wasit province (180 kilometers) south of Baghdad, the opening of borders after the agreement with the Iranian customs, said the governor of Wasit province, Mahmoud Abdul Ridha, during a press conference today (Monday), that 'This action came after a series of bilateral agreements with the Iranian authorities in Ilam province border with Iraq '.

    And between Abdolreza that the 'agreement included various sectors of engineering, business and health, as well as the agreement to accelerate the establishment of free trade zone between the two countries', explaining that 'will allow the Iraqis to enter Iranian territory in their cars, without a visa through the province of Ilam'.

    He revealed Abdolreza also, for the opening of offices in coordinating joint Wasit Eelam (LTTE) and the implementation of the agreement, calling on Iranian companies to accelerate the entry of Iraqi markets and investment in the province.

    The Wasit Provincial Council has called for, earlier, to open an Iranian consulate in the province, to promote political and trade relations between the two sides. It also stressed the coalition bloc 'rule of law' in the provincial council on the need to open a consulate, which gives the province and the economic dimension of tourism, after the vast amount of trade between the two countries.

    For his part, assured the governor of Ilam Iran, Mohammad Reza, his approval on the entry of Iraqis in their cars without a visa to the country, directed during the joint press conference, thanked the Iraqi authorities which provided facilities for the Iranians to enter their country.
