    The Ministry of Planning, Sunday, for the rise in total imports for the year 2015 to $ 41.6 billion, indicating that imports via marine ports is the highest value of the rest of the other ports.

    He said the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry in a statement obtained by "direction Press" a copy of "Total imports for the year 2015 for material goods and petroleum products amounted to $ 41.6 billion, equivalent to 48.6 trillion dinars, recording the highest increase rate of 12.4% for the year 2014 as imports reached a 37.1 % billion dollars, equivalent to 43.3 trillion dinars, and at a compound growth rate of 11.7% for the year 2013 ".


    The statement added that "imports non-oil merchandise amounted to $ 39.4 billion, equivalent to 45.9 trillion dinars, recording an increase of $ 21.1% from 2014, reaching $ 32.5 billion, equivalent to 37.9 trillion dinars at the current rate of customs statement and at a compound growth rate of 17.6% for year 2013".

    The statement noted that "the total imports for the year 2015 for petroleum products totaled $ 2.3 billion, or the equivalent of 2.7 trillion dinars change rate reached 49.9 percent in 2014, reaching $ 4.6 billion, or the equivalent of 5.3 trillion dinars, where the compound growth rate decreased by 31.8% from year 2013".

    And the statement that "Total imports of goods of non-oil by marine border crossings $ 35.1 billion, also equivalent to 41 trillion dinars, recording the highest increase in the amount of 185% from 2014, reaching $ 12.3 billion, equivalent to 24.8 trillion dinars form 89.3% of total imports of goods non-oil for the year 2015 ".

    Between the statement that "imports via marine ports is the highest value compared to the outlets of border land and air, reaching 4.5 trillion dinars, while imports reached via land ports 0.4 trillion dinars."
