Allawi and Kubiš stress the need for dialogue between Iraq and Turkey

new Vice President Iyad Allawi, during a meeting with a representative of the Secretary - General of the United Nations in Iraq , Jan Kubiš, his call for a regional conference to lay the foundations for the strong relationship between the countries in the region and establish security and stability landmarks therein.
A statement to the media office, received the "morning", that Allawi had discussed with Kubiš " a number of issues pertaining to Iraq and the region."
The statement added that the vice president put Kubiš in the "image of the recent movements and his meetings with the leaders of the region to coordinate about the challenges facing their countries efforts, particularly the war on terror," reviewing "raised the Iraqi and Syrian crises solutions."
He renewed Allawi " to call for a regional conference to lay the foundations strong relationship between the countries in the region and establish the security and stability of parameters through joint action to resolve the various issues, particularly the Palestinian issue on the occasion of the works of the Paris conference today and efforts to resume peace negotiations , according to the two - state solution."
The two sides agreed, according to the statement " the need to pursue dialogue between the Iraqi and Turkish sides to resolve the existing tensions and hailed the visit of Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim to Baghdad and the agreement and proceed to resolve the outstanding issues."
Allawi , who stressed " the importance of working to strengthen national unity and defeat terrorism and the rejection of extremism , sectarian and political, in addition to strengthening the orientations of national reconciliation", he stressed " the need to hold fair and transparent elections , " calling for " an intensification of communication and coordination between the Secretary - General of the United Nations and the Secretary General of the OECD Islamic and secretary general of the Gulf cooperation Council and the Secretary General of the Arab League to form a common understanding of the crisis region.
