Shafaq News / The Sunni cleric, Abdul Malik al-Saadi called on Monday the Iraqi government to achieve the six demands in which he described it as the “last call”, while urged protesters to leave cheers, blaming the government for the bombings that have taken place in the country

    .
Saadi was transferred last month to Turkey for treatment there

    .
According to his office statement, the operation was successful

    .
Saadi said in a statement received by “Shafaq News” that “he calls the Iraqi government for the last time but he believes that “there is no point with them”.

Saadi - a Sunni cleric, considered a major religious reference to this community – began his call for the government to issue a general amnesty for prisoners excluding those found “criminal by non-politicized judiciary and evidence not taken from the confidential informant

    ."
Saadi addressed the issue of militias and listed special SWAT forces in his statement and demanded to dissolve it and hold on to the army and their leaders the responsibility for what has happened in Abu Ghraib and Taji prisons.

He called on the government to let all component participate; achieve services to the people, referring to the protests on bad services in the central and southern provinces

    .
Al-Saadi concluded his call to the government by saying “you will leave your positions soon “.

He talked also about the protesters in the western provinces of the country, and asked them to keep the protests peaceful.

Saadi is one of the prominent Sunni clerics, popular by the demonstrators in the provinces that have witnessed demonstrations against the Iraqi government, which started to decline gradually after the formation of committees between the two sides.
Saadi was in Amman before the start of the protests, where he taught at the University of Mutah

    .
It is worth mentioning that Saadi launched an initiative to resolve the crisis between the protesters and the federal government, but it was soon abandoned because of what he described as the government non response to the demands, leaving the negotiating option the protestors on a condition not to involve any politician in the negotiations

    .
But Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki confirmed that he had heard Saadi’s initiative through media only
