    Tigris College wins first place in the classification of private universities

    Heading the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the use of modern technology teaching methods in universities and the adoption of the interactive style between professors and students, as revealed ending the phenomenon of colleges «unrecognized», he won the Tigris College ranked first in the classification of civil universities carried out by the ministry.
    The minister said Dr. Abdul Razzaq al- Issa, in a statement »Sabah», on the sidelines of the first conference of the Quality Management in Iraqi universities, which was held yesterday that the ministry has prepared a kit to convert international quality and academic accreditation to approach going by government and private universities, adding that the ministry strive to make the level of Iraqi universities , international universities sober through the standard quality of competition in all aspects of education.
    He added Alissa, the classification of civil universities, which was carried out by the ministry came after conducting intensive visits and access to laboratory and teaching methods and methods of dissemination of research which is adopted by universities, indicating that the Tigris college civil won the first place in the classification, while earned college future second place, and replaced the Islamic University in Najaf ranked
    third.
    The minister revealed during the conference , which was held in the Tigris Community College, under the slogan ( the quality of education is present brilliant and promising future), about ending the phenomenon of scientific shops referring to the colleges unrecognized, pointing at the same time, that the ministry is working to establish a culture of scientific institutions public benefit.
    For his part, said head of supervision and scientific calendar system in the ministry , Dr. Nabil al - Araji »Sabah» that quality standards for universities civil relied on five foundations, the infrastructure service , which identified 25 percent of the degrees of classification, in addition to teaching and learning by 25 percent, along with quality assurance and reliability by 20 percent, while scientific research has been adopted by 20 percent, and scientific activities and capacity building by 10 percent.
    To confirm the administrative agent in the ministry , Dr. Mohammed Sarraj »Sabah», on the sidelines of the conference, said the ministry is moving to adopt modern technology methods of teaching in universities, and work to enhance the interactive style between professors and students, adding that the ministry aims through it to the development of modern learning methods in line with the electronic development of the universities sober.
    In the same context, the Dean of the Tigris College , Dr. Ali Hatem Hassan Taleb, in a statement »Sabah», the Ministry of Higher Education to allow his kidney to bypass local quality barrier and move towards international standards through the adoption of the principle of partnership with international universities discreet in terms of the development of the approved curriculum and the adoption of methods of teaching
