{Local: Al Furat News} The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced, today, Tuesday, its discussion of the investment budget allocations for the governorates in the presence of a number of governors.
The committee stated in a statement received by {Al Furat News} that it hosted a number of governors to discuss the role of governorates in enhancing non-oil revenues, in accordance with the provisions contained in the Federal General Budget Law for the years (2023-2024-2025) No. (13) of 2023, and the Financial Management Law No. (6) of 2019 (amended).
The statement added that the meeting discussed the investment budget allocations for the governorates for the years 2023 and 2024, in addition to food security allocations.
