{Politics: Al Furat News} The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Ammar Al Hakim, confirmed today, Monday, the government’s support for automating government sectors and using modern technology with the aim of stimulating the economy and moving productive sectors.
Mr. Al-Hakim's media office stated in a statement received by {Euphrates News} that "Mr. Al-Hakim met with the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Futoshi Matsumoto, on the occasion of the near end of his duties, wishing him success in his upcoming duties and for whoever succeeds him in Baghdad."
He stressed the "depth of the relationship between Baghdad and Tokyo," calling for "a wider presence of Japanese companies in Iraq and investment in promising opportunities in the fields of reconstruction, development and digital transformation."
Mr. Al-Hakim pointed out his support for "the government in automating government sectors and using modern technology," stressing "the importance of diversifying the Iraqi economy and leaving the rentier state phenomenon," indicating that this approach requires "activating the industrial, agricultural, tourism and investment production sectors."
The head of the State Forces Alliance also renewed his condemnation of the "unjust war on the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples," calling on the international community to "pressure to stop the war, provide relief to the displaced, and contribute to the reconstruction of the damaged cities."
