    A member of the Committee on Economy and Investment Representative Najib Najib, Tuesday, that the debts of Iraq amounted to 107 billion dollars, noting that half of them belong to the government of the former regime before 2003.
    "The debts of Iraq after the new loans borrowed by Iraq amounted to 107 billion dollars, and half of them left by the government before 2003," she said, adding that "the debts include compensations Kuwait and international lawsuits against Iraq, as well as judicial claims."
    "The other half of the debt is divided into two subdivisions: domestic loans, treasury bonds, central bank reserves and other banks. The other part is the loans of the World Bank and the loans of America and Japan."
    Najib pointed out that "these debts will be paid in the form of payments (installments), annually and in batches of money from the state budget (sovereign)."
    On a related level, Najib pointed out that "the lack of economic policies before 2014, the reason for borrowing Iraq as the financial budgets were non-volatile."
    Earlier, Iraq managed to write off $ 100 billion of Paris Club debts of $ 140 billion after Iraq signed a debt reduction agreement with these countries alone, 80% of which was signed by some countries from the Paris Club agreement with Iraq To write off 100% of its debt towards Iraq
